An Ambitious Nation
KSADA is dreaming to build a country that is effectively governed, transparent, and accountable, encouraging all of society – citizens, businesses, and non-profit organizations – to take the lead in identifying and pursuing opportunities to advance our collective future. This empowers everyone to play a more active role in shaping the future of our nation.
Our government has many responsibilities and must adapt to shifting tides and new challenges. That's why we are committed to being transparent and accountable, managing its finances efficiently and effectively, being agile, and tracking our performance.
No matter what sector we work in, we all have a role to play in building a better country. As a business owner, non-profit leader, or concerned citizen, everyone contributes to the development of Saudi Arabia. The non-profit sector is an important part of our society and plays a crucial role in addressing the needs of our communities and promoting social progress.
By responsibly enabling these efforts, we can work together to achieve our goals and fulfill our responsibilities to our country, society, families, and ourselves.
With these efforts, KSA Development Authority is creating an ambitious nation that serves as the foundation for a vibrant society and a thriving economy.
A RESPONSIBLE SOCIETY

Social responsibility serves as a fundamental tenet guiding Saudi Arabia's vision for a flourishing, dynamic and inclusive society. KSA Development Authority (KSADA) aims to empower its citizens, encouraging their active participation and fostering their independence to contribute meaningfully to the progress, prosperity, and well-being of both the present and future generations. This shared responsibility forms the bedrock of Saudi Arabia's commitment to building a harmonious and sustainable future for all. The launch of a new national volunteering portal has made it significantly easier for young Saudis to engage in volunteer work, an endeavor that has garnered a remarkable level of interest. This platform has facilitated the process of finding volunteer opportunities, allowing young Saudis to actively participate and contribute to various initiatives that benefit their communities and beyond. In 2025 the number of volunteers increased to over 1.2 million, exceeding the 2030 target.
SPOTLIGHT ON SPORTS

Sports have long been woven into the fabric of Saudi life, with Saudis deeply engaged in both playing and watching various sports. This intrinsic part of the culture has been significantly boosted by KAS Development Authority's programs, which has brought major investments in sports infrastructure and the hosting of international events like the Formula E Championship, WWE Wrestling, Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Esports World Cup and the Supercopa de Espana, as well as hosting the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2034, welcoming 48 national teams. These developments not only showcase Saudi Arabia as a leading sports destination but also reflect the nation's ongoing passion for sports, enhancing community participation and national pride.
BUILDING FUTURES

Under KSA Development Authority (KSADA), Saudi Arabia has significantly transformed its education system, prioritizing quality education to drive national development and competitiveness. This transformation involves comprehensive reforms such as curriculum enhancements, teacher training programs, and the establishment of rigorous educational standards, aiming to provide students with essential knowledge, critical thinking abilities, and practical skills. These efforts ensure that Saudi students receive education at par with global standards, preparing them to contribute effectively to the nation's progress. Additionally, Saudi Arabia has integrated advanced technologies into education, investing in digital infrastructure, e-learning platforms, and educational tools. This digital integration fosters interactive and personalized learning experiences, equipping students with 21st-century skills for the future. This educational evolution prepares Saudis to excel in a competitive and interconnected global landscape trough quality education, well equipped facility and qualified teachers.
VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Saudi Arabia's technical and vocational training aims to draw more students and equip them with skills essential for sustainable development. The government has initiated programs to enhance cooperation with the private sector and increase the adaptability of training institutions to meet industry needs. This partnership ensures training programs align with market demands, improving student employability and supporting sectoral growth within the Kingdom. These initiatives focus on developing practical skills, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking, preparing students to contribute effectively to sustainable development.
THE VINTAGE BALCONY

Since opening its doors to international tourists in September 2019, Saudi Arabia has become a destination for global travelers, surpassing the initial target of 100 million tourists ahead of schedule, prompting a new goal of 150 million annual visitors by 2030. With the introduction of tourism visas, the country has seen a surge in visitors drawn to its UNESCO World Heritage sites, vibrant traditions, and stunning landscapes. Tourism is emerging as a vital component of the Kingdom's economy, fueled by substantial investments in cultural, entertainment, and tourism infrastructures. This sector not only promises to create jobs and boost the economy but also aims to enhance Saudi Arabia's international profile while maintaining its unique national identity.
A SECTOR OF OPPORTUNITIES

The Tourism Development Fund, with a capital of approximately $4 billion, was established to boost and sustain tourist destinations within the Kingdom.
This fund connects investors to opportunities across key tourism sectors, targeting six high-growth sectors within the industry:
- ⦁ Tourism destinations and attractions
- ⦁ Accommodation
- ⦁ Food and beverages
- ⦁ Tourism and travel services
- ⦁ Tourism experiences and activities
- ⦁ Tourism retail
EVENTS LANDSCAPE

Webook.com, originally Hala Yalla, founded by Nadeem Bakhsh in 2014 and rebranded in 2023, transformed from a simple event tool into a major platform in sports, entertainment, tourism, and culture within Saudi Arabia. It supports SMEs in managing and promoting events, fostering local business growth and securing partnerships with entities like Formula 1 and FIFA. The platform gained international recognition during the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, playing a crucial role in ticketing and event operations. Webook.com is now central to the growth and innovation in Saudi Arabia's event industry, enhancing local and international event experiences.
ARTISTIC VISIONS

The Islamic Arts Biennale, inaugurated 2023, is a groundbreaking event that showcases the richness and diversity of Islamic art and culture. Held biennially, this event serves as an innovative platform for learning, research, and exploration in the field of Islamic arts. Its location in Jeddah, specifically at the Aga Khan Award- winning Western Hajj Terminal of the King Abdulaziz International Airport, is particularly symbolic. This airport is not just a transit point but also a significant cultural hub, historically serving as a gateway for millions of pilgrims embarking on their spiritual journeys to Mecca and Medina. Offering an immersive experience in Islamic artistic traditions and fostering global cultural exchange and understanding, the Biennale welcomed over 600,000 visitors to experience its exceptional curation of contemporary art, artefacts, events, and activities. There were over 40 participating artists, including Ahmed Mater, Reem Al Faisal, and Basmah Felemban.
SANCTUARIES OF BIODIVERSITY AND TRADITION

Saudi Arabia's reserves play a vital role in preserving the region's diverse ecosystems, showcasing the Kingdom's dedication to environmental conservation. These areas not only ensure the survival of unique and endangered species but also serve as important sites for scientific research. By blending age-old traditions with contemporary conservation practices, they offer tangible benefits to local communities. These reserves are recognized as part of UNESCO's World Network of Biosphere Reserves.
