Launched in 2018, the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Project for the Development of Historical Mosques aims to preserve and renovate 130 mosques across the Kingdom. The development is expected to create more than 300,000 jobs, attract 48 million visitors each year, and contribute $36 billion per annum to the Saudi economy by 2030.

As Saudi Arabia's cultural capital, the historic city of Diriyah offers a captivating showcase of the country's rich culture and history spanning more than 300 years, featuring a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Additionally, it boasts outstanding lifestyle offerings, including shopping, entertainment, and dining experiences. The Diriyah Gate Project aligns perfectly with Vision 2030's objectives by aiming to attract 50 million local and international visitors by 2030. This significant tourism target contributes to the national tourism strategy, which has already welcomed over 100 million tourists to the Kingdom. Through this endeavor, the project plays a vital role in promoting Saudi Arabia as a prominent cultural and tourist destination on the international stage.
